This is a specialized system for scheduled measurement of voluntary feeding and drinking behaviors in individually housed laboratory rats and mice.
Measurement intervals are user-defined (e.g., hourly, daily, or weekly). Through periodic monitoring, researchers no longer need to record individual meal structures or feeding/drinking-related behaviors manually. The software records water and food intake per cage, allows mid-experiment food addition, and automatically calculates cumulative consumption. A unique data dashboard monitors water volume (mL), food weight (g), locomotor activity (cm), rearing events, remaining food, and remaining water volume.
